DID YOU KNOW…There is another back door move to disarm law abiding American citizens through your children and a treaty with the UN?
http://www.parentalrights.org/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC=%7B96190840-EC3B-4A5E-80EE-9719625B62A5%7D
FACT: America is only one of two nations that have not signed this treaty, but the pressure is on.
FACT: Under international law, the treaty overrides the Constitution of the United States.
FACT: If ratified the UNCRC could end homeschooling forever in the US.
FACT: The state will have the right to “watch” all families.
Imagine an Air Force mom, serving her country on a month-long deployment, who learns that her daughter has been secretly removed by local authorities, claiming the child has been “abandoned.” Children begin mandatory sex-education at the age of four, regardless of their family’s opinions, beliefs, or convictions, and parents are imprisoned if their children fail to receive any of their mandatory vaccinations. Parents live in a state of constant supervision and suspicion.
Imagine if your national government had the audacity to appoint a “guardian” to monitor your child from birth, charged with the legal responsibility to evaluate your decisions as a parent and armed with the legal authority to “intervene, prevent or rectify” any violations of your child’s rights. Public and private schools alike are policed by the national government, and classes begin with singing about the principles of peace, tolerance, and the United Nations. Your child’s confidential medical records, stored in a nation-wide electronic register from birth until age twenty, can be accessed at any time, without your knowledge, by any physician, teacher, or government social worker in the nation.
Now stop imagining, because for parents in the 193 countries that have ratified the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child, each of these scenarios is true.
TEN THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE SUBSTANCE OF THE CRC "CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD":
Children would have the ability to choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion.
The best interest of the child principle would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent’s decision.
A child’s “right to be heard” would allow him (or her) to seek governmental review of every parental decision with which the child disagreed.
According to existing interpretation, it would be illegal for a nation to spend more on national defense than it does on children’s welfare.
Children would acquire a legally enforceable right to leisure.
Christian schools that refuse to teach "alternative worldviews" and teach that Christianity is the only true religion "fly in the face of article 29" of the treaty.
Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.
Children would have the right to reproductive health information and services, including abortions, without parental knowledge or consent.
Parents would no longer be able to administer reasonable spankings to their children.
A murderer aged 17 years and 11 months and 29 days at the time of his crime could no longer be sentenced to life in prison.

WASTED BREATH
As we watch a group of brave men take a stand upon the Senate floor for hours that seem to have no end, it calls into question as to whether these gentlemen are essentially "wasting their breath?” Most certainly there are Americans on both sides of the fence that would agree to that being the case.
However, Jesus tells a parable that is rather fitting for the situation we saw displayed.
Luke 18:1-5 Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, saying, "In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. "There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give me legal protection from my opponent.' "For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.'"
This parable displays one of the greatest acts of a "peaceful war." Through her persistence, the widow gave the judge no peace until she received what she knew she needed, and what she knew was just. Through the display in the senate, we saw persistence for what is right and just.
It is interesting that Jesus pointed out more than once that the judge was not a man that feared God, yet he surrendered due to the fact that he was the weaker in the battle by his own acknowledgement.
Luke 18:6-8 And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"
In this passage, the unrighteous judge recognizes God, and that He is just. The judge is also well aware that the elect cry out to the Lord day and night. For Him to know this, the elect had to have made it clear to all, who they were, and to whom they belonged. This judge knew that through their PUBLIC prayers, God would act swiftly on their behalf. These believers did not fear praying out in the open and making their request known to God for all eyes to see.
As we watch the courage displayed on Capitol Hill, perhaps we Christians need to consider carefully just what it is going to take to see victory. We applaud the men who have stood for us so long, but is more required for GOD to turn His face back to us and bring about His justice quickly?
Friends, we used to be known as a Christian nation. We used to pray in the public square, sending forth the message who we were, and to whom we belonged. While it is important for us to pray privately, it is now my firm belief that God is waiting on us to once again meet Him in the public square and show the unrighteous who our God really is. Like our good senators, let not our words be a mere wasting of breath.
When the Son of Man comes, will He find that kind of faith on the earth?

Marching Orders
When we look upon the world around us, it
seems hard to imagine that we will ever see our country return to what
it once was. Christians instinctively, and through signs mapped out in
the Bible, know that the time of the Great Tribulation is fast
approaching. Recently someone asked me, "If we know that the tribulation
is coming, then why try to fight it, or stop it, if it is destined to
happen anyway?"
The truth is, God did not set dates as to when the "end" is going to come, and He never gave us a time limit on protecting our families, standing firm against evil, and seeking justice. No where in the Bible does God ever tell us to "give up."
For those of us who have "eyes to see, and ears to hear," we must remain alert at all times until His coming.
1Thessalonians 5:4-6 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.
While it is true that we humans cannot win the spiritual war that rages upon the earth, nonetheless we are not called away from the battle field until the Lord returns for us.
Psalm 94:6 & 16
"They slay the widow and the stranger
And murder the orphans.
Who will stand up for me against evildoers?
Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?"
All of us have a duty to stand strong, defend the innocent, and protect the gifts that God has given us, which are family, home, and country.
Pro 28:5 Evil men do not understand justice,
But those who seek the LORD understand all things.
For those who "love God and are called according to His purpose" let us continually bear in mind that God is with us through the battle, and that no matter what the outcome here on earth, God Himself will be victorious and we will share in the celebration for eternity.
Pro 21:31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
But victory belongs to the LORD.

War of Words
Dear Huldah,
It is so upsetting to turn on the news anymore because people just seem to be fighting all the time. No one agrees about anything and everyone points the finger at everyone else. I can’t help but wonder where this is going to take us. I see what is happening in Egypt and I get worried for us. Even some of my neighbors have had heated debates. Does the Bible say anything about this kind of fighting?
Thank you,
Lillian J.
**********
Dear Lillian,
It is ever so true that within our nation today we are deeply rooted in a war with words, and like a fire, it is spreading rapidly.
The scriptures are quite specific about the dangers of the tongue.
James 3:5-10
So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great the forest is set aflame by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.The tongue is a powerful weapon. It can be used to build, and it can be used to tear down.
Pro 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,By the words of even one man can a nation be saved or destroyed.
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Pro 12:18
There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword,However, we all have choices concerning our speech, and we will all be held accountable before God as to the words we chose and how we chose to use them.
But the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Mat 12:36-37
"But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."As hard as this is for people to grasp, the solution to this kind of war begins with us as individuals and in within our sphere of influence.
Col 4:5-6
Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. When we open our mouths we need to think about the lasting affects it may have. Ask yourself some questions.
Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Does my speech lift up or tear down?
Will I regret these words later?
Will these words bring me trouble?
Do the words on my tongue defend the innocent or further the cause of evil?
Are these words of wisdom, or words of foolishness?
Would my silence benefit the situation more than my speech?
Solomon once said that there is a time to speak and a time to keep silent.
Pro 10:19
When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable,Pro 17:27
But he who restrains his lips is wise.
He who restrains his words has knowledge,Lillian, neither you nor I can win the war of words going on in our country. However, we can win battles within our own circles by PRAYERFULLY choosing our own words carefully.
And he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
Pro 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath,My final advice:
But a harsh word stirs up anger.
Do not look to your right or to your left. Do not focus on what others are saying and doing. It only causes distraction and fear. Stand strong for Truth; defend the helpless and the innocent, speaking with as few words as necessary to get the job done. Pray for God to convict the hearts of your neighbors as well as bring salvation. Pray forgiveness and mercy for America. And when fear begins to creep in again, remember God’s words:
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am GodMay God’s words penetrate your heart.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
